Emergency Response Africa is a healthcare technology company headquartered in Ontario, Canada and duly incorporated in Nigeria.

Who are your first responders?

All our first responders are licensed medical professionals - doctors, nurses, or paramedics - in good standing with their relevant professional bodies and undergo regular additional life support training and certification.

Can I only pay in Dollars?

No, you can pay in Naira, Pounds or US Dollars.

How can I reach support?

Response times will vary by location however our response times are as low as 10 mins in Lagos. Users of our services appreciate the speed, efficiency and support we provide.

Is this an insurance policy?

No, it is not. An emergency plan ensures access to immediate help at the scene and transportation to hospital. Our emergency plans also include a hospital deposit of up to N100,000 to ensure emergency treatment in the first 24 hours. A health insurance plan is strongly recommended for your routine and major non-emergency healthcare needs. Contact us for insurance plan recommendations.

Are services available outside Lagos?

Yes! Our emergency response services are available in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibada, Asaba and environs. We have partners in 10 states in Nigeria and for emergency incidents outside of our coverage areas, we will work with you to find help.

Can I get a plan for my family in Nigeria?

Yes you can. You can do that by making a bulk purchase.

What types of emergency cases do you address?

We address medical emergencies related to sudden illness and trauma (accidents). In partnership with Nigeria’s leading private security services provider, we also address security-related emergencies such as assault, armed robbery, kidnapping and more.

What if I don’t have an emergency? What kinds of perks do I have access to?

The length of time your plan is effective for. For single-trip emergency, your coverage lasts for a maximum of 60 days and can be used anytime within 6 months of purchase. For multi-trip and all-inclusive emergency, you may travel and access services anytime within your coverage period.

Response times will vary based on location and distance however we aim to be on the scene within 10 minutes. Estimated Time of Arrival will be communicated by Dispatchers with real-time updates provided throughout.
Our paramedics arrive prepared to treat on site and transport patients as required.
Patients will only be transported to a hospital of their choosing or hospitals we have verified as Emergency-Ready. Visit our website to learn more. Covered distance between patient pickup and drop off is 50km. Longer distances may attract additional charges.
If needed, Emergency Response Africa will pay an admission deposit of up to 100,000 Naira to your chosen hospital to ensure prompt quality treatment for the first 24 hours. This admission deposit must be refunded to Emergency Response Africa within 14 days of admission.
We will transport the patient to another hospital or for diagnostic tests after initial emergency treatment.
Access immediate armed security response through our trusted partner and the leader in private security services, Halogen Group. Get support whether you need private security response or to engage with the Nigerian Police Force and other Government Security Forces.
