How does Cover by ERA work?
When a Cover by ERA customer calls, a trained First Responder will be notified through our app and will arrive at the scene of the emergency within minutes. They will stabilize the emergency victim, provide treatment where possible, and if advanced care is required, facilitate transport to one of our Emergency-Ready Hospital Partners.
What happens when a customer makes a payment?
When a customer makes a payment and is enrolled as a Cover by ERA customer, their details are entered into our database. The customer will receive a welcome message from ERA within 24 hours and be given access to enjoy the benefits that come with the plan.
Can I call the toll-free number anytime?
Yes! Our emergency helpline is available 24/7, and you can speak with a qualified medical professional.
How quickly can your ambulance reach someone in an emergency?
In an emergency, our ambulance can reach you in less than 20 minutes.
Can a dependent use the ambulance service if not directly registered?
Only registered numbers/persons can access the service. Cover by ERA is designed to be affordable for families. Register every person today for easy access.
What hospitals are patients taken to when picked up by an ambulance?
We have stabilization centers already prepared in regions within Lagos, including Primary Health Centres for minor emergencies, and Hospitals for major emergencies. Our job, once an evacuation happens, is to stabilize the patient at the emergency scene and transport them to the nearest hospital at no extra cost to the patient.
Is Cover by ERA an insurance plan?
We are not an insurance product. It is a subscription service for emergency response only.
