Emergency Response Africa partners with governments through public-private partnerships and technical partnerships to achieve SDG 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing, 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, and 17 – Partnership for the Goals, by establishing and operating effective emergency services.
With a critical focus on finance, operations, technology and data, ERA offers governments a turnkey solution to manage the complete delivery of fast, reliable emergency services. Our solution spans creative and sustainable financing models and capacity building of prehospital and hospital emergency wards to asset management, data analysis, and optimized resource allocation.

We design holistic, sustainable emergency services programs that help governments drive impact and internally generated revenue.

FAQ

When you call our toll-free emergency number (0 8000 2255 372), you are immediately connected to a trained medical dispatcher. The dispatcher will assess the situation (triage) and quickly connect you with the nearest available emergency responders, including paramedics, ambulances, and medical professionals. We ensure on-site treatment and, where necessary, safe transport to a verified emergency-ready hospital.
Most health insurance plans only begin to cover your care once you arrive at the hospital. Emergency medical cover ensures that you get the urgent care you need before you reach the hospital, from dispatching an ambulance to stabilizing you on-site, and getting you to the right facility fast. It bridges the gap between the incident and hospital care, which can be life-saving.
