Do you always have a headache? Read these tips.

We often underestimate headaches, and self-medicate without speaking with a doctor. If you find yourself taking Paracetamol, Ibuprofen or other pain relievers very frequently, stop!

Sometimes, headache and associated symptoms could indicate a more serious underlying medical emergency, such as a stroke.

Please seek immediate medical attention if you experience the following symptoms:
– sudden onset severe headache or a sudden change in baseline headache
– dizziness or loss of balance
– muscle weakness
– changes to speech or vision
– numbness or tingling sensation
– convulsions
– confusion or changes in awareness
– neck stiffness
– vomiting

It is important to recognize danger signs that warrant a visit to the hospital emergency room.
