QUESTIONS ABOUT ERA
How is this different from our current health plan (HMO)?
From experience, in an emergency, most HMO plans work excellently as soon as a person reaches a network hospital, but it is usually in the gap between the scene of the emergency and the arrival at an appropriate hospital that the most damage is done and life could be lost. Our service offers
- 24/7 access to our toll-free line staffed by emergency medics - meaning the patient gets phone first aid from the moment a call is placed
- Handy emergency request mobile app - Signal by ERA for accurate location and tracking
- Largest network of First Responders in the community (sometimes on a motorcycle) and ambulances - meaning we get to the scene faster than anyone, as little as 15 mins
- Communication and referral to a network of verified emergency ready hospitals - meaning patients avoid being sent from place to place looking for treatment, they are accepted and treated in as little as 5 mins
- Additional benefits for corporates like First Aid training and certification, emergency readiness assessments, ambulance coverage for events etc. are provided
Is it a must to work with ERA’s network of partners?
Our partners are all emergency-ready accessed hospitals but it is not a must that you work with our partners, we encourage you to do that basically because we are sure that you would get the best service from our partners.
